Synopsis
On her first day of school at Westwinds High, Jesse Richards learns of the mysterious disappearance of Principal Shroeder. The police question the entire school, as the Shroeders are the most prominent family in town. She befriends Billy Hudson and his best friend, Jay. When Jay ends up missing, Billy tells Jesse to drop the story. When her editor pulls the plug on the story and her one source disappears, Jesse becomes more determined then ever to uncover the truth. Billy reluctantly agrees to help Jesse. They uncover a conspiracy in the student body. Though they are terrorized by the killers, they continue to seek the truth. Their investigation leads to a shocking showdown under the old pier at the beach.
